An Older Couple Standing In Front Of A House At Atlantis Beach.

Janice and Nick Butts say they are looking forward to building their new home at Atlantis Beach private estate in Two Rocks on their 375sqm which they recently purchased.

Currently living in Greenwood, Janice and Nick said they no longer required a large house because their children are were now adults and have moved out of home.

Janice added that Atlantis Beach private estate offered a perfect location to downsize because it was situated in an established community and offered a coastal lifestyle at a very affordable price.

“Moving to Altantis Beach means that Nick and I can build a brand new low maintenance home that is within easy walking distance to the beach and also has access to facilities in the Two Rocks township.

“We live in a quiet part of Greenwood and love our privacy so we were delighted to secure  a building lot at Atlantis Beach that directly overlooks permanent bushland.

“Downsizing to Atlantis Beach will also give us the financial freedom to enjoy a more pleasurable life without the worry of finding the additional income to fund holidays etc.

“We are originally from the UK and have lived in Perth for the past 23 years. The very affordable house and land package at Atlantis Beach will allow us, for example, to travel to the UK more often to visit family and friends following the sale of our Greenwood home where property prices are much higher.

“Nick and I looked a number of places to downsize in Perth including the Swan Valley and the northern coast strip, but we settled on Atlantis Beach because of its location close to the beach and existing community facilities. Many of the new estates elsewhere in Perth seemed ‘soulless’ because they did not have an existing community like Two Rocks.

“Even the distance to Perth did not deter us because once our new house is built I will be commuting to Subiaco where I work as a mid-wife nurse. The new train station at Bulter has made Two Rocks much more accessible to the city centre and we expect that over time the train link will be extended further north closer to our new home.

“Atlantis Beach is also just over 20 minutes to Joondalup City Centre and this has all the key facilities that anyone could require including a major hospital, shopping centre and social amenities,” she said.

Jarrod Rendell, Project Director for Atlantis Beach private estate said that Janine and Nick were just one of several down sizers who had bought a house and land package in Stage 1 of the development.

“These downsizers are coming from all over Perth because Atlantis Beach offers the most affordable coastal land in Perth in an established community.

“Land at Atlantis Beach private estate is already very affordably priced from just $142,000 while house and land packages start from only $299,990.

“We have also recorded strong sales to first home buyers and well as upgraders and this broad cross section of buyers will further enhance the strong community spirit that currently exists in Two Rocks.

“Two Rocks is a long established beachside community with existing facilities including shops, schools, restaurants and a marina. Transport links to Perth have been greatly improved with the opening of the Butler train station and direct and regular bus links between it and Two Rocks.

“ These local facilities will be significantly enhanced further over the coming years by major new social infrastructure such as the recently announced Atlantis Beach Baptist College which will open next year,” he said.

The Atlantis Beach sales office is located in the Two Rocks town centre at 1/8 Enterprise Avenue, Two Rocks and is open from Monday to Wednesday from 11 am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
